Procedure
First get your two eggs, place them in the beaker. Now, fill the beaker with 100 mL of the white vinegar, (or until the eggs are covered.) leave the eggs out for 24 hours. By then, the shell should have become a selectively permeable membrane. Once the 24 hours is over, study the eggs, (Appearance.) Weigh them, measure the mass, and measure the volume of the eggs. Do this ALL before you place them in their new substances. Once you are done, place your each one of your two eggs in their different substances. (One hypo tonic, one hyper tonic.) Leave them out for 48 hours and once this wait is done your eggs should be complete. Record all your the new observations/ the new appearances and discuss them in class.
